When I started Kichwa Tours, I noticed something missing in the industry. Too many operators were running sterile, rushed tours that kept travelers separated from the real heartbeat of Zanzibar and mainland Tanzania.
I wanted to change that. I curated a team of locals—friends, family, and lifelong historians of Stone Town—to pull back the curtain on this beautiful country. We wanted travelers to smell the authentic spices, hear the untreated histories, and safely witness wildlife in its purest form without the commercial fluff.
Today, every itinerary we craft is highly personal. You aren't treated as a client; you are welcomed as an honored guest in our home.

All 4x4 Land Cruisers undergo a rigorous 40-point safety and mechanical inspection before every safari.
Our ground team monitors all vehicles via GPS and maintains constant VHF radio contact in remote areas.
Registered vessels with mandated life jackets, emergency flares, and experienced captains for all ocean excursions.
